The ICON project aims to strengthening the competitiveness of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in the border area between Slovenia and Italy. The main purpose of the project is the integration of enterprises and of all the actor that support the enterprises and other business actors in the activities that will transfer knowledge and technology and promote innovation and development of common services. This will help to improve cooperation and the performance of enterprises in the border area, to increase awareness and interest in investing in the border area.
WP 1: Management and coordination of all the WP, technical report, financial report, minutes.
WP 2: The inclusion of 100 stakeholders (associations, foundations), 5 cross-border partnerships, improvement of services by supporting actors, the establishment of three cross-border working groups, the creation of an integrated Regional Consulting office (4 offices), 200 small and medium-sized enterprises involved in the first level of activity, 20 consulting services to the second level of activity, a conference for business support institutions, a journey of study, a training course for consultants, a cross-border strategy for innovation and competitiveness, the guidelines for a common marketing strategy, 4 business plans / innovation strategies, 4 business plan for start-up of new businesses.
WP 3: creation of a Knowledge Management System (KMS), content creation and insertion in the KMS, the creation of four dossier for further study, and management of KMS requests for contributions, wide awareness to the use of DBE, a brochure explaining DBE and instruments for sustainable innovation, 12 training sessions for participants in events planned for 5 projects sustainable innovation in the border region, a public seminar to present the results and pilot projects.
WP 4: complete analysis of cross-border areas in the area, link analysis and network of 15 key areas for action, in which it is possible or desirable and more effective cooperation, 10 key factors that increase the effectiveness of cooperation , 14 trained and qualified leaders of the cluster, creation of 10 cluster groups / networks, new products and services in cross-border area, the efficiency of survival of clusters / networks at an early stage, expansion of networks.
WP 5: A forum on cross-border regional development, a guideline for local marketing, the presentation of a comparative analysis with foreign markets, 10 market research in the field of CB (5 in 5 in Italy and Slovenia), 30 research foreign market (in 5 fields of 6 countries). During the period of preparation will be involved around 1500 small and medium-sized businesses about opportunities to participate in the meetings, will be affected about 5 production activities. The total number of enterprises involved in the meetings of the CB will be 315 (three main events for about 6 225 companies and small events for a total of 90 participating companies), business cooperation contracts / production with companies in foreign countries, 3 fairs international, 5 events "business matching", the participation of at least 3000 small and medium-sized enterprises and the presence of 300 SMEs.
WP 6: production of at least 5 training modules (classroom and on-line), of which one of three pilot modules of online training, the inclusion of at least 120 people (young and old) in the business, the achievement of the internship for 30 young people working in Italian companies in Slovenia. Length of internship: 3 months, construction of 20 trade business, duration of the exchanges: 2 months.
WP 7: Kick off meeting - 100 people, corporate workshops (2-4 hours): Implementation of 8 workshops (4 in Slovenia, 4 in Italy) for a total of 120 participants (entrepreneurs), start up - workshops for new Enterprises: 4 workshops (from 3 hours), 2 in Slovenia, 2 in Italy, for a total of 80 participants (entrepreneurs), the promotion on local radio: 20 information and promotion campaigns, TV programs: 12 programs and promotional information, publication of articles, news, invitations, etc.. in the press. 50 publications (minimum 1 / 3 A4 page), the final conference: 100 participants, promotional materials, brochures -5000 (distributed in at least 25 points), brochures (guides), how to make their activities (services) in the neighboring country . 5 different guides - 500 copies of each guide (a guide will have at least 8 pages in A5 format), promotional material for the project (promotional gifts - 500 bags, pens, 1000, 1500 Keychain) website.
WP8: design of foundations for the realization of the proposed project and its implementation, application form preparation, translation and harmonization of the application form.
